Nexus — Moderation and Complaints Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026
Version: 1.0

This Policy explains how content moderation, reports, penalties, and appeals
work on Nexus. It reflects the actual moderation system implemented in the
Service.

1. Principles

2. How to report

3. How reports are handled

  1. Reports enter a moderation queue visible to authorised moderators.
  2. A moderator reviews the report together with surrounding context.
  3. The moderator decides an outcome:
  4. Action taken — the content/account violated the rules and a penalty
    was applied;
  5. No action — no violation was found;
  6. Invalid — the report could not be processed (e.g. incomplete or
    duplicated).
  7. The person who filed the report is notified of the outcome by the in-app
    moderation bot only after a decision is made, without disclosing private
    details of any other user.

4. Penalties

Penalties escalate with severity and repetition and may include:

The most serious violations (see the Community Guidelines "Zero tolerance"
section) may result in immediate permanent removal.

5. Notifications and appeals

6. Records and data protection

7. Legal requests and serious harm

8. Contact
